Section appendix B says:

It should say:
/^(([^:\/?#]+):)?(\/\/([^\/?#]*))?([^?#]*)(\?([^#]*))?(#(.*))?/
Notes:
A Regular Expression is delimited by the slash ("/"). Within it a slash should be preceded by a back-slash ("\").
