Section 8.7 says: 

   As an API consideration, this means that any Initialize Update
   Finalize (IFU) verification interface is prone to misuse.

It should say:

   As an API consideration, this means that any Initialize Update
   Finalize (IUF) verification interface is prone to misuse.
