Section 3.8.5.3 says:
Weekly on Tuesday and Thursday for five weeks: DTSTART;TZID=America/New_York:19970902T090000 RRULE:FREQ=WEEKLY;UNTIL=19971007T000000Z;WKST=SU;BYDAY=TU,TH
It should say:
Weekly on Tuesday and Thursday for five weeks: DTSTART;TZID=America/New_York:19970902T090000 RRULE:FREQ=WEEKLY;UNTIL=19971002T000000Z;WKST=SU;BYDAY=TU,TH
Notes:
The UNTIL rule is inclusive, and October 7, a Tuesday, should not be included.

Neil Jenkins wrote: This erratum is invalid. The original example, while slightly weird, is correct as is. The event's DTSTART time is 09:00 New York TIme, and the UNTIL time is 00:00 UTC, which is before this. Therefore you would not get a recurrence on the 7 Oct with this rule and so it would produce 10 occurrences, as specified. The "corrected text" is in fact invalid, as this would remove the 2nd Oct occurrence.
