Section 12.2. says:
The fingerprint of a V3 key is formed by hashing the body (but not the two-octet length) of the MPIs that form the key material (public modulus n, followed by exponent e) with MD5.
It should say:
The fingerprint of a V3 key is formed by hashing the concatenation of the bodies of the MPIs (MPI without two-octet length) that form the key material (public modulus n, followed by exponent e) with MD5.
Notes:
There are two bodies and one hash.
Changed to editorial.
--VERIFIER NOTES--
It could have been:
... by hashing the body (but not the two-octet length) of the two MPIs
^^^
But, it's clear from the parenthetical that there are two MPIs.
