A non-requirement: artwork, including ASCII to SVG conversions, is the responsibility of the Authors. The RFC Editor will not create artwork.

Pre-formatted text must be no more than 80 characters wide and should use an artwork tag with an attribute (to be defined later) to differentiate the different types of pre-formatted text..

SVG artwork will be based on the SVG 1.1 (Second Edition) standard.

• There are a several accessibility limitations that will preclude certain SVG tags, such as shading and color.
  • Under consideration: limiting the available tags further by restricting tags to SVG Tiny 1.2 tags only (http://www.w3.org/TR/SVGTiny12/)
