Readers will report errata against whatever Publication format they are viewing. The errata process will need to be modified to handle the potential conflicts between formats.

1. Should the errata system be modified to include a field to record what document format the reader is reporting against?
2. The info pages include a link to any errata associated with an RFC. Should a frame be placed around the HTML format to directly link to errata associated with that RFC (see tools HTML version as an example)
3. Who checks back to the canonical version of the RFC to verify that the errata is not a transformation issue?
   1. If the author submitted a text version of the RFC, they may be unwilling or unable to check the XML format.
