This is a list of preferred values for the “type” attribute of the <sourcecode> element for use in XML files converted by xml2rfc. Note that this list is not comprehensive and can be expanded.

The “type” attribute of <sourcecode> specifies the type of the sourcecode. Per RFC 7991, “The value of this attribute is free text with certain values designated as preferred.” See the Sourcecode entry in the RFCXML vocabulary for details.
