Section 8.3.3 says: 

   In that case, the compromised endpoint needs to refresh its
   credentials and invalidate the old credentials before the attacker
   will be unable to authenticate messages.

It should say:

   In that case, the compromised endpoint needs to refresh its
   credentials and invalidate the old credentials before the attacker
   will be unable to authenticate messages.

Notes:

Logical error - the current text contradicts the intended meaning
