Section 7 says:
The Diffie-Hellman public value is obtained by concatenating the x and y values. The format of the Diffie-Hellman shared secret value is the same as that of the Diffie-Hellman public value.
Notes:
The last paragraph is incorrect. The Diffie-Hellman shared secret
contains only the x value. The y value is not included in the shared
secret.

It should say:
Sections 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3 end with text of the following form: These are concatenated to form g^ir: (binary data value appropriate to each example) This is the value that is used in the formation of SKEYSEED. In each of these three sections, the above text should be replaced with: The Diffie-Hellman shared secret value is girx.
Notes:
The technical errata at <http://www.rfc-editor.org/errata_search.php?eid=9> is incorrect. It causes the specification in section 7 to disagree with the examples in section 8.
