Section 2 says:

   3.  The method MUST follow the required procedures (including the
       specific algorithms) defined in [CPIM] and [CPP].  In particular,
       these documents specify:

       *  Signing MUST use [SMIME] signatures with [CMS] SignedData.

       *  Encryption MUST use [SMIME] encryption with [CMS]
          EnvelopeData.

It should say:
