Errata ID: 3048
Status: Held for Document Update
Type: Editorial
Publication Format(s) : TEXT

Reported By: Pan GaoYong
Date Reported: 2011-12-08
Held for Document Update by: Pete Resnick
Date Held: 2011-12-29

Section 3.6.6. Rese says:

When resent fields are used, the "Resent-From:" and "Resent-Date:"
fields MUST be sent. The "Resent-Message-ID:" field SHOULD be sent.

It should say:

When resent fields are used, the "Resent-From:" and "Resent-Date:"
fields MUST be set. The "Resent-Message-ID:" field SHOULD be set.

Notes:

[Verifier note: The original report only noted the second use of the word "sent". I have updated to include both. I have marked as "Hold" because (a) I believe the meaning is clear in the current and (b) it is not obvious that "set" is the correct word here; perhaps "used" is better. Left for an editing pass when this moves to Standard.]
