Section 3.1 says:
Control Bits: 8 bits (from left to right): URG: Urgent Pointer field significant ACK: Acknowledgment field significant EOL: End of Letter RST: Reset the connection SYN: Synchronize sequence numbers FIN: No more data from sender
It should say:
Control Bits: 6 bits (from left to right): URG: Urgent Pointer field significant ACK: Acknowledgment field significant EOL: End of Letter RST: Reset the connection SYN: Synchronize sequence numbers FIN: No more data from sender
Notes:
The "control bits" field includes 6 bits as listed, while the line says they are 8 bits.
I might be mistaken, if so please tell me, but I assume it is a typing error due to distraction.
