Section D.3 says: 

      C: Bill:
      C: The next meeting of the board of directors will be
      C: on Tuesday.
      C: John.

It should say:

      C: Bill:
      C: The next meeting of the board of directors will be
      C: on Tuesday.
      C:                         John.

Notes:

Since step 1 and step 2 are transmitting the same message, the relay host should not change its body.

The previous version of this document, RFC 2821, had the "John." signature centered by padding spaces before it on both steps, not just step 2.
