HTML is a language in which an answer MIGHT exist. I haven't seen an 
answer yet, though.

A key problem with HTML, besides support for useful printouts, is the 
lack of WYSIWYG editors.

For those who complain about my desire to use teletypes for output, I 
don't - nor do I want to edit the internal format of a document 
explicitly (nor have I since 1985).
