RFC 2557 was mentioned as an exception to a rule in that thread. I
tested the contents served from www.rfc-editor.org and
tools.ietf.org/html/. The Content-Type: I received used UTF-8. This
is similar to what Julian reported. There was a message
(20120501105649480630.8dfae7fc at xn--mlform-iua.no) where a different
Content-Type: was mentioned. It seems that it is due to browser interaction.
