hello,

One common error seen in html pages is the assumption that the default
background color is white and the default color is black as soon
as colors are used for inner elements.

has this problem as well as most pages in the ietf tools.

try and make you default background color "ffe" if
your favorite browser allows this.

Rules of thumb: as soon as you are going to use color and
background-color anywhere, use them at least both and
be aware of user defined defaults. This also applies to
input fields but that is not a concern here.
