At least on Windows 7 I managed to get Wordpad to show it.
At first the Chinese characters were displayed as squares. So I marked everything and tried to change the font to SimSun. The font was not there, so I clicked "Show more fonts.." at the bottom of the font selection box, which opened a fonts window, where I could re-enable that font. Then I again selected the whole document and changed the font. Now the Chinese characters look OK, but the latin letters look pretty bad, and Martin's ü looks like it's written in superscript. I wonder if Windows has some font where all characters look OK. With the current format it has to be monospaced, or the ASCII art would look bad. Courier and Courier New don't work.
On Mac OS both TextEdit and TextWrangler work.
