While regular graphics could have made the document a bit more pleasant
to view, I claim that the document actually represents quite a good job
of using ascii art but a mediocre job with equations.
The main strength in what was done for the ascii art is that each
diagram is relatively simple and discrete. That makes each one tractable.
The equations were presented inline but should have been separated into
its own lines. This would actually have made them more readable.
