Section 6.3.3 says: 

   text          = %d1-9 /           ; all octets except
                   %d11-12 /         ; US-ASCII NUL, CR and LF
                   %d14-255

It should say:

   text          = *(%d1-9 /         ; all octets except
                     %d11-12 /       ; US-ASCII NUL, CR and LF
                     %d14-255)

Notes:

Each time the "text" keyword is used in ABNF definitions in this RFC, it means "any number, including none, of octets except NUL, CR and LF" and not one such octet.
